HA5C2-T

The HA5C2-T is a single-axis rotary unit with two 5C collet noses. The “-T”
indicates the unit has thrust bearings to handle higher axial loads. Always
select the -T version when planning to use a tailstock to support long
workpieces. Tailstock thrust must not exceed 800 lb (3559 N). Clamp your parts using standard 5C collets, or chuck them by threading
3-jaw chucks to the spindle noses. This unit has no collet closing
capability as standard. Optional pneumatic collet closers are available. Note: Requires a Haas mill with 4th-axis drive and NGC software version 100.19.000.1100 or later for full 4th-axis operation. Stand-alone operation requires a
Haas rotary control box shipped after November 10, 2021, with software version 26.32 or newer.
